Do & Stay

Our Recommendations for Worcester

Where to Stay

There's parking on-site at the venue, so you're welcome to drive yourself and stay wherever suits you best. Some of you will be driving up from Cape Town for the day, others might prefer to stay closer — either works!

Below are a few options nearby to get you started, but you're also welcome to search Airbnb or Booking.com yourself for something that fits your group. If you get stuck, just message Vogue and she'll ask the venue owners — they're incredibly helpful.

If enough people need a lift, we can look at organising a shuttle to nearby areas closer to the time — just let us know on your RSVP.

Some Things To Do

The Worcester area is proper Boland country - think farm stalls, wine routes, and mountains in every direction.

Here are a few local favourites if you want to make a weekend of it.

BOSJES

Stunning wave-roofed chapel and gardens on the R43 between Worcester and Ceres, with Die Stalle Spa (grape-based treatments — very Winelands) and a farm-to-table restaurant.

Only about 25 minutes from the venue, so a lovely spot for a spa morning or lunch before or after the wedding weekend.

Karoo Desert National Botanical Garden

Home to one of the world's richest succulent collections, right on the edge of town.

Breedekloof Wine Route

One of the youngest wine routes in the country, right on Worcester's doorstep.

Rietdakkie Padstal

A classic thatched-roof farm stall on the R43 for fresh produce and farm-style meals.
