Note: we'll update this section with exact timings closer to the date, but save these dates. If you can't make it, please let us know so we can plan!

Where

It Wasn't Just Any DM
It Was a Testimony

Classic Vogue and Pietie, this was not a normal how-we-met story, and we wouldn't have it any other way.

Two years ago Vogue found a video of Pietie on Instagram — his testimony, sharing his walk with God like it was the best thing that ever happened to him (it was). She left a comment. That was it. That was genuinely the whole start of this.

Fast forward a year, Vogue starts a podcast (my life, His glory, go check it out 😉), and who pops up in her follows? Pietie. He messages her, super interested in what she's building. And then... we just never stopped talking. Weeks of conversation, ALL about God, and Vogue didn't even properly know what this guy looked like yet.

Didn't matter. Something about him was just different.

Life did its thing for a season and we lost touch for a bit. But when we came back to chatting, we never stopped, and things moved fast. Next thing Vogue's literally landing in Windhoek to go watch Pietie race in the Desert Dash in the middle of the Namibian desert. Then it was road trips, then Mozambique...

A month into it, Pietie's sitting in his tractor mid-workday, and sends him a 21-minute voice note pouring her whole heart out. That voice note became forever.

We just knew that we knew. This was different, and God was written all over every single bit of it. He's been the centre of our story from day one and He's not going anywhere, that's the whole plan for this marriage too.

Kan nie wag nie to celebrate with you all. Jinne, this is going to be so much fun.

Registry

Your presence at our wedding is the greatest gift of all. But if you're asking (and Pietie's coffee obsession has made this an easy one) - we're putting together funds toward a proper coffee machine to start our home with. Any contribution means the world to us.

If you want to contribute, let us know on your RSVP and we'll send our banking details your way 💛
